With its inviting atmosphere and community-focused spirit, this establishment has become a staple for both locals and visitors alike, located conveniently at 115 Fuller St. Whether you're looking to enjoy a casual drink, meet new friends, or simply relax, Ramblers offers a diverse selection of craft beers, fine wines, and refreshing seltzers that cater to every palate.

Throughout my visits, I've been struck by the genuine warmth of the staff and the vibrant camaraderie that fills the bar. As Emily Knutson aptly puts it, "this is very much a neighborhood spot," where friendly regulars and welcoming staff members create an environment ripe for conversation and connection. The ever-rotating draft list means there’s always something new to try, making each visit a unique experience.

In addition to an impressive drink selection, Ramblers embraces a pet-friendly policy that encourages patrons to bring along their furry companions. This thoughtful touch enhances the welcoming vibe, making it a fantastic spot for all members of the family. As noted by Schuyler Nowicki, whether you bring your dog or cat, everyone is greeted with open arms.

One of the highlights of visiting Ramblers is the laid-back charm that anchors the experience. David Andrews captures this perfectly, calling it "a true Durham Bar." Here, the relaxed atmosphere invites you to settle in, enjoy a fresh brew, and engage in lively discussions with fellow patrons. It's not just a place to drink; it’s a hub of community life where good music and the buzz of conversation fill the air.

As you sip on your favorite beverage, consider taking the short stroll to catch a Durham Bulls game. As Andrew Marino mentioned, Ramblers is an excellent meeting point before heading to the ballpark—a local secret that adds to the allure of this vibrant venue. Dedicated parking means you can leave your vehicle without worry, making your visit all the more enjoyable.

In essence, Ramblers Beer & Wine is not just about drinks; it’s about belonging. With every visit, you uncover the beauty of community, friendly faces, and a commitment to quality. Whether you’re a long-time local or a first-time visitor, I wholeheartedly recommend making Ramblers your next stop while exploring Durham. I’ve been coming to Ramblers for about four years, both for to-go drinks and spending time at the bar. This is very much a neighborhood spot, filled with friendly regulars who are often ready to strike up a conversation. Both the owners and staff are happy to give a recommendation or offer a sample from the ever-rotating draft list. Very dog friendly, too!

This is a true Durham Bar. Friendly, easy-going and they have the best tap list in the triangle. Looking for good beer and better conversation? This is it. Every time I'm in town I go to Ramblers.

I began coming here when I moved to West village and everyone at the bar and behind made me feel so welcome. Now that I've moved out of downtown it's still one of the places I always stop at whenever I'm close. Dedicated parking, good drinks and good company. Highly recommend

My favorite bar in Durham! They have an excellent selection of wine, beer and seltzers. There is always good music playing and a fun movie on the TV. Very pet friendly, so bring your dog (or your cat)! Both staff and customers are welcoming and ready to have a great conversation!

Ramblers is my go to spot when I'm in the downtown Durham area! It's the perfect place to meet up, enjoy a fresh brew (or two), and then catch a Durham Bulls game a short walk from the bar. I've always appreciated their service, recommendations, and to-go offerings and would highly recommend to anyone who hasn't been there before!

Great local bar and bottle shop! I love the low key, neighborhood bar vibe. It's an ideal stop to catch up with friends. I have been numerous times. The taps are always changing out with something new and fun to try, there's a great selection of bottles to go, and the staff is friendly and knowledgable. Always one of my favorite stops when going out in Durham!

Inclusive, quaint and comfortable dog-friendly neighborhood bar and bottle shop which I have been visiting for years. What is lacking in square-footage and shelf-space is made up for with warm hospitality and meticulously curated inventory. Great beer, great wine and great people! If you are nearby, be sure to stop in and support your local business!

The cutest husband and wife owned shop with taps and wine! We enjoyed visiting them a few times during our stay in Durham, hyper local spot which we loved! Great experience, wonderful tap list and cans to go. Complimentary Parking available in the adjacent garage, clean restroom, well lit menu boards. Great selection, looking forward to stopping by again when we're back in the area. Definitely a nice place to unwind and walking distance to several local restaurants.
